Continuing the Seth Research Project

Posted February 14, 2021 :

As most of you know, Mary Dillman transitioned on December  10, 2020 after a fairly brief illness.

While Mary had been able to document her extensive research, she did not have the time to pull all of that information together into formats acceptable by Yale’s Sterling Library (Manuscripts and Archives Repository) for submission to the Jane Roberts Papers collection. She did however plan ahead and made arrangements to have someone follow through for her.

Nothing like a passport photo for a reality check, lol.

My name is Deb Tejada, and from time spent working with Mary and Rich Kendall, they both felt I was not only passionate about the Seth materials, but also reliable and trustworthy, with the willingness and technical skills to follow through.

Mary’s various research projects are in the process of being gathered and collated, and it will take a lot of time and effort, and financial support. I am retiring my graphic design business so I can focus on the Seth Research Project. It has already taken me several weeks to gather all of Mary’s research files, become more familiar with them and store them in a safe place. Every day I’m astounded by how much information Mary was able to gather. Surely it’s not possible that one person could do so much!

Now I’m ready to get to work, and I’m looking forward to it! Please check back here for occasional updates, or subscribe to our newsletter.

  1. I corresponded with Rob for something about 30 years up until his death. Though we never met (we tried twice to get together, but one time there was a big miscommunication and the other was a nasty storm and my return flight involved), but had talked on the phone.

In any event, I have many letters and Rob artwork and I’d like to contribute it all to the Yale Library Seth/Jane/Rob collection. How can I go about doing this, if it’s something you’d take? I really don’t want these lost. I’m also a writer, and had Rob contribute some words to the epigraph of my first novel, Sleepwalkers.

  2. I love Mary and I was sad for us when she transitioned, not only because we would all miss her terribly but also because her work was important. It is a relief to me that you are taking over this project. I am happy to help with support as I did with Mary over the years. Thank you so much!

  3. Deb, I can’t think of a better person to carry on this most important work. The Seth community is forever grateful this information has been entrusted in your loving hands. You are a very special person. Love to you and your work.

  4. Deb
What a perfect project for you to take on. You have been headed in this direction for many years now. Love and Light

  5. Hi Deb, I’m so pleased that this project continuous and such a dedicated person takes it over. So much work and love has gone into this project and it’s so exciting to hear it will continue. Thank you so much. By the way, as far as passport photos go, this one is a winner!!

    1. Thank you Ursula, I’m honored that I can follow through with Mary’s hard work. And thanks about the photo, I keep forgetting I’m not 26 any more. 🙂

  6. Dear Deb,

Thank you for taking on Mary’s project. It is comforting to know that her work will not be abandoned. I wish you the best of luck.

    1. Thank you Suzanne, I’m very excited about being able to do this for Mary, she put so much into her work! Or as she called it, value fulfillment. 🙂

  7. Deb, This was all meant to be, there was prior dream-work involved and Mary passed the “rod of Seth and Jane and Rob” to you and you stepped up to the plate and created for yourself a world of challenging work, to say the least, and you will tackle the continuation of the work with loving vitality and refreshing energy…for too much Seth, is not enough, my pun. A probable reality was viewed, accepted and attracted for actualization, and, in a great sense, the essences of Seth, Jane, Rob and Mary and Rich Kendall, and others are quite aware your your presence and intent here with continuing the work and they will be looking in on you and giving you loving dream suggestions and advice. However, the decisions are yours to make. — ron

    1. Ron, thank you so much, very touching and very Seth. It’s hard to believe all that’s happened in the past year with Rich and Mary, and I feel very honored to be able to do to this for Mary, Yale, and all of the Seth readers throughout “time.” After almost 3 months devoted to gathering Mary’s information, I’m really looking forward to getting to work. Value fulfillment is at the heart! Deb

  8. Deb, thanks so much for turning your focus to the Seth Research Project. Many people will benefit from the work you will be doing. Sending you a big hug and a warm welcome.

    1. Hi Emmy, thank you! I’m excited about being a part of this and the Sterling library folks are very happy that Mary’s research will go to the collection when complete.
